Who qualifies, and for how much

Comfrt runs conditional discounts for two groups. Verified students can unlock around 15% off full-price orders over $50. The same 15% extends to a key-worker group: military, veterans, first responders, teachers and healthcare staff. Both are earned by confirming eligibility through a verification partner rather than by typing a plain code — which is exactly why they trip people up.

How verification actually works

1. At checkout (usually on desktop), choose the student or key-worker discount option.
2. Confirm your status through the verification partner — a student email, an ID upload or an eligibility lookup, depending on the group.
3. Once confirmed, the discount attaches to your qualifying cart. You're verifying access, not pasting a code.
4. Keep the cart full price and over the $50 floor, or the discount won't hold.

The conditions people miss

• Full price only. The discount applies to regular-price items and skips sale or clearance pieces.
• A $50 minimum. Carts under the floor won't trigger it, so add a staple if you're close.
• It won't combine with a code. This is a verified discount, not a stackable coupon — you use it instead of a typed code, not alongside one.
• Desktop is more reliable. If the verification step stalls in the app, switch to the website and keep your ID handy.

Is it always the best deal?

Not automatically. On a small full-price cart the 15% verified discount is hard to beat. But on a bigger cart, a two-for bundle or a tiered builder can edge ahead, and during an overstock event the sale rail may win outright. Because the verified discount can't combine with those, treat it as one option among several: check it against your best bundle and your best code for the same items, then take whichever leaves you paying least.

If you re-verify each year, the student discount can stay available through the school year — a quiet, standing saving that's worth setting up once and forgetting about.
